These core values illuminated the path for the birth of a company: MG Madrid & Company. Mario G. Madrid, Jr. and Benedict A. Ang Ban Giok were inspired by these enduring principles, leading them to establish their business—an accounting and business advisory firm catering to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and large corporations. They departed from their positions at the reputable firm of SyCip Gorres Velayo & Co. and subsequently incorporated MG Madrid & Company with the Securities and Exchange Commission on January 14, 2003.
Their primary objective was to assist SMEs in professionalizing their businesses. Leveraging their combined experience and expertise, they aided others in developing their organizations to gain a competitive advantage both locally and internationally.
Initially located on Amorsolo Street in Makati, their services began with Audit Services and later expanded to include tax and transaction advisory services. Over time, the company established four offices in Metro Manila to accommodate the rapid growth of staff, partner specialists, and clients.
Today, MG Madrid & Company takes pride in its team of over 150 highly skilled professionals and partner specialists, offering a wide range of audit, tax, and other accounting-related services to diverse clientele.
With consistent growth, MGM & Co. aspires to expand its reach to serve the entire country. Plans include establishing offices in other areas of Metro Manila, as well as in the Visayas and Mindanao regions.
