These core values lit the way for a company to be born: MG Madrid & Company. Mario G. Madrid, Jr. and Benedict A. Ang Ban Giok were inspired by these enduring principles so they set up their business – an accounting and business advisory firm catering to small and medium – sized businesses and large corporations. They left their positions in the reputable firm of SyCip Gorres Velayo & Co. They then incorporated MG Madrid & Company with the Securities and Exchange Commission on January 14, 2003.
The clear goal was to help SMEs professionalize their business. With their combined experience and expertise, they helped others build their organizations so they can gain competitive advantage, locally and internationally.
Their first office was in Amorsolo Street in Makati where they offered Audit Services and then it expanded to Tax Services and Consulting on Estate Planning and Property Management. Over the years, the company has opened 4 offices in Metro Manila to manage the rapid growth of staff, partner specialist and clients.
Today, MG Madrid & Company pride itself on having over 130 highly skilled professionals and partner specialists, offering various audit, tax and other accounting – related services to a wide range of clients.
With such steady growth, MGM & Co. hopes to expand to a point where they can serve the entire country. It is eyeing to establish offices in other areas of Metro as well as in the Visayas and Mindanao Region.
